Show Notes
Droughts stand out as the longest occurring natural disaster. These decade-long events ruin crops and place a lot of pressure on local animals. These events are hard to measure as the starting point and ending point are up to debate with some pointing to rainfall and others to soil moisture over a period of time. Droughts occur all over the planet, and some point to the occurrences being more often in some local areas, while others have seen fewer droughts. Today we talk about the repercussions, science, and the future of crop yields.
